Outlook hangs indefinitely on "Loading Profile"

I have Office 365 Home Edition installed and Outlook always hangs indefinitely when opening on "Loading Profile".

I have :

a. disabled all add ins

b. re-installed Outlook

c. tried using a new profile

= same result

Outlook only opens when using "Safe Mode", but then it fails to properly updated and does not download all emails.

I am using Windows 7 on an HP Laptop.

Hi,

Please try the following steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type regedit and press Enter to open the registry editor.

2. Navigate to the following registry path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common

3. Right-click on Common and select New > Key, name it Graphics.

4. Select the Graphics key and then right-click in the right side pane and select New> DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name it DisableHardwareAcceleration.

5. Change the value data of the DisableHardwareAcceleration key to 1.

6. Click OK, exit Registry Editor and then start Outlook to see the result.

Please let me know the result.
